personal
Things I do outside the lab.
Music
I played clarinet in the UCLA marching band for four years! Go Bruins!
Birding
I like birdwatching and taking blurry photos while on vacation, club retreats, or whenever I see cool new animals!
Kyoto
In summer 2023 I was fortunate enough to live in Kyoto for a research internship at Cross Labs!
Teaching and outreach
In summer 2026 I volunteer TA-ed at UCLA COSMOS, teaching high school students about computer vision, speech, and AI.
Through the IEEE student branch I tutor undergraduates in circuits, embedded systems, and machine learning, and I’ve helped run the annual IdeaHacks hackathon and outreach events at local schools.
Running things
- Undergraduate Science Journal @ UCLA (2022–2026): managing editor, leading 25 reviewers through 20+ submissions each quarter.
- ACM AI @ UCLA (2023–now): events director. We run technical talks and research fairs, some with 300+ people.
